Projekt zur Entwicklung eines musiktheatralen Rahmens für den zentralen Beitrag des Instituts für Musik zum 50-jährigen Uni-Jubiläum mit Aufführung in der Aula am Sa, 22.6.2024

Nach der performativen Eröffnung der Klanginstallation "Eine Brücke in die Zukunft" mit Enrico Stolzenburg (Regisseur und Klangkünstler aus Berlin) am Nachmittag führt der Weg ab ca. 19.30 Uhr in die Aula zu weiteren Beiträgen aus dem Institut für Musik.
Der grobe Rahmen für die Aula-Veranstaltung wurde bereits im WiSe 23/24 entwickelt und skizziert, soll im aktuellen SoSe 24 nun aber konkretisiert und umgesetzt werden. Teilnehmende für das aktuelle SoSe 24 sind dafür herzlich willkommen!
Im Hinblick auf die Aufführung am 22. Juni 2024 werden auch weitere Gruppen/Ensembles/Akteur:innen vom Institut für Musik der Uni Oldenburg (z.B. World Music Ensemble/WME, ggf. Teile des Blasorchesters, Solist:innen, ggf. einzelne Teilnehmende aus den Kursen von René Schack, etc.) beteiligt sein.

Wir blicken von der Gründung der Uni Oldenburg ca. 50 Jahre zurück in die 1920er Jahre – als Carl von Ossietzky lebendig und politisch wie literarisch aktiv war – zentral auch als langjähriger Herausgeber (und Nachfolger von Kurt Tucholsky) der berühmten kritischen Wochenschrift für Politik, Kunst, Wirtschaft: „Die Weltbühne“ (zuvor als Theaterschrift „Die Schaubühne“).
Wir zeichnen die turbulente und aufregende Zeit der 1920er Jahre (Weimarer Republik) mit Fokus auf Weltbühne & Ossietzky nach und greifen auch das 1983 uraufgeführte „Carl von Ossietzky Oratorium“ des chilenischen Komponisten Gustavo Becerra-Schmidt ein einigen Eckpunkten auf.
