Unter dem Titel Oldenburg School for the Social Sciences and the Humanities findet vom 4. bis zum 6. Oktober im Schlauen Haus Oldenburg eine Veranstaltungsreihe statt, die der Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses in den Geistes- und Sozialwissenschaften dient.

Die Ausrichter*innen der Fakultäten I, II, III und IV der Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg bieten verschiedenste themen-, theorie- und/ oder methodenzentrierte Veranstaltungen an. Sie richten sich sowohl an Fachpublikum als auch an die interessierte Öffentlichkeit.
