| Module contents | The module focuses on dermatology, immunology and inflammation. Lectures: Fundamentals of immunology and inflammation Seminars: Worked examples of major inflammatory diseases (e.g. allergies, infections, autoimmune diseases) and advanced therapeutic concepts. Exercises: Students will be expected to demonstrate the ability to prepare presentations in small working groups where they critically evaluate current research regarding specific examples of inflammatory diseases and their therapy (problem-orientated learning) |
