Investigation of the spatial metazoan community along the Beagle Channel using metabarcoding of zooplankton and environmental DNA in combination with imaging analyses. 
Samples have been collected in January and February and are expected to be ready for processing in April. The laboratory analyses will take place at AWI in Bremerhaven. 

Analyses include:
DNA extracion, next-genereation sequencing (MiSeq) of eDNA and zooplankton, Imaging analysis with zooscan

 

Experience in using R for data analyses
Preferably experience in lab work and analysis with genetic samples/data
