Title | Modeling and testing of inflatable components for ubiquitous computing |
Description | Inflatables make for great shape-changing devices. Flat or folded in the deflated state, they can turn into a multitude of geometries and shapes when inflated. To explore this class of shape-changing interfaces, a successful candidate will build and analyze inflatables from different materials (silicone, TPU-coated nylon, etc.), explore their geometries and create a software that models the shape-changes before the actual building process. |
