Mosaik is a co-simulation framework with a focus on the simulation of Smart Grids. In this context, it is frequently necessary to convert between different units and sign conventions. In this thesis project, Mosaik shall be extended with functionality that supports the user in detecting when conversions are necessary and in performing these conversions. The additions should conform to Mosaik’s ease-of-use and (depending on the chosen implementation) preserve backwards compatibility with existing Mosaik simulators and scenarios.
