Title Developing a Simulation Model for Electric Vehicles and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (German possible)
This thesis aims to develop a simulation model for electric vehicles (EVs) and EV charging stations in the smart grid context. The model shall simulate EVs moving between charging stations and their charging schedule. It will be connected to other existing smart grid simulation models to analyze EV behavior in the grid and its impact on grid stability.
We aim to use the developed model in AI agent training after the thesis is done.
The complexity can be adjusted to a bachelor's as well as to a master's thesis. It is possible to write the thesis in English or German (your own preference).

For bachelor's and master's thesis:
  • develop a model for EV charging stations
  • EVs can be made abstract as batteries connecting to (different) EV charging stations without driving behavior inclusion

Additionally, for master's thesis:
  • include energy consumption while driving through usage functions
Programming knowledge is mandatory.
