The final time slot for the block course is February 20th to the 24th and March 6th – 10th. The course will be held online. However, a seminar room on campus is booked for you, to provide a quiet and easily accessible environment with reliable internet.

IMPORTANT: Course structure and time commitment
This is a 6 credit-point course, equivalent to 180 workload hours; of these only ~70 are contact hours. The other 110 hours will involve work in your own time, both before, during, and after the course. A large part of that work contributes to the portfolio that your grade is based on.
The extent of work required BEFORE the course may be unusual, but is for your own benefit: the course depends on active participation on your part and the block structure does not leave you enough time to adequately prepare during the course, particularly during the first week. To help you structure your time, and also give us enough time to provide feedback, we require:
Each participant to give one 30-minute oral presentation during the course. This will be followed by a detailed discussion of the language, structure, and the presentation. The talk must be based on your own work, preferably current, or from your Bachelor’s degree. The presentation file (either MS Powerpoint or, better, a PDF) must be uploaded to the folder “Oral presentation files” in StudIP by Friday, February 17th, midnight.
Other files, involving work in your own time on various tasks (to be specified in an email subsequent to the introductory meeting) must also be uploaded before or, in some cases, during the block course. After the block course, you will write an essay; the submission deadline for which will be agreed on during the course.
TAKE-HOME MESSAGE: If you cannot find the required time before, during, and after the course, or have conflicts with the scheduled contact hours, please de-register from the course now and give those who can a fair chance.
