Comment/Description

Welche Strategien gibt es, sich 'den Anfängen' zu widmen? Der Anfang von Kultur und dem Zivilisationsprojekt des Menschen liegt genauso im Dunkeln, wie uns der Anfang des Bewusstseins, des Denkens, der Sprache Rätsel aufgibt. Dabei ist offenkundig, dass die konkreten Ereignisse dieser prähistorischen Zeiten aufgrund mangelnder Quellen für immer verborgen bleiben müssen. Umso reizvoller und notwendiger erscheint es, sich den Anfängen zu nähern, indem plausible Erzählungen entworfen werden.
Das Seminar soll sich anhand von ausgewählten Texten (z.B. Vico, Rousseau, Kant, Herder, Nietzsche, Bataille) dem Denken und der Darstellung solcher Anfangsszenarien widmen und dabei die Stärke spekulativer, erzählerischer oder imaginativer Methoden erkunden.

Ein Reader mit allen relevanten Texten wird vor Veranstaltungsbeginn zur Verfügung gestellt.
